Upgrade the steering response of your Mazda3 or Mazdaspeed3 with our solid billet aluminum steering rack bushings, designed to replace the factory rubber rack mounts.

The OEM rubber bushings are designed to isolate noise and vibration, but their compliance can also allow unwanted steering rack movement under load. Replacing them with solid billet bushings creates a more rigid connection between the steering rack and chassis, helping improve steering precision, feedback, and consistency.

Each bushing features a two-piece billet design for straightforward installation while maintaining the factory steering rack position.

Why Upgrade the Steering Rack Bushings?

The factory steering rack is mounted using rubber bushings to reduce noise and vibration transmitted into the cabin. Over time—and especially during aggressive driving—the rubber can allow the rack to move slightly relative to the chassis.

Solid billet steering rack bushings remove much of this compliance, providing a more direct connection between steering input and the front wheels.

The result is a tighter, more connected steering feel, particularly during quick direction changes, hard cornering, and performance driving.

Important Note

Because these are solid bushings, some additional steering-related noise or vibration may be transmitted into the chassis compared with the factory rubber mounts. This is a normal characteristic of solid performance bushings.
